Iranian Attacks Reportedly Damage Twenty US Military Bases Since February

(MENAFN) An analysis released Monday suggests that Iranian attacks have damaged 20 US military facilities across the Middle East since the conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran began in February.

According to reports, the assessment relied on satellite imagery and video footage gathered from several international providers, as well as archived images used to evaluate the impact of the strikes. The affected locations were spread across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, Bahrain, and Oman.

The findings come despite repeated assertions from the White House that Iran’s military capabilities have been largely neutralized. Analysts cited in reports contend that the extent of the damage visible at American military sites indicates that Tehran’s retaliatory operations were more effective and far-reaching than US officials have publicly suggested.

Among the reported losses were three advanced anti-ballistic missile defense battery systems located at Al Ruwais and Al Sader airbases in the United Arab Emirates, in addition to systems stationed at Muwaffaq Salti Airbase in Jordan.

According to reports, satellite evidence also showed substantial damage to US aerial refueling and surveillance aircraft at Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia. Images reportedly revealed destroyed aircraft and extensive burn scars across parts of the base.

Reports further indicated that analysts identified one of the damaged aircraft as an E-3 Sentry airborne surveillance plane. According to reports, replacing such an aircraft could cost as much as $700 million, based on estimates cited by US media.
